Test Stand
HydroAire's Engineered Test Facility is designed with considerable flexibility to conduct performance tests.
Currently located on Chicago’s west side, HydroAire’s second facility will be moving to a 46,000 sq. ft. shop which will expand and enhance our testing capabilities.
The new test stand is expected to be operational by 2010. The following describes current testing capabilities.
Capabilities of HydroAire’s Current Test Stand:
- Flows to 8021 GPM
- 2” Venturi flows up to 215 GPM
- 4” Venturi flows up to 1101 GPM
- 6” Venturi flows to 2598 GPM
- 14” Venturi flows to 8021 GPM
- Pressures to 3000 PSI
- Certified Performance Curves to HI and ASME PTC
- Instrumentation - Calibrated and Traceable to National Institute of Standards Technology (NIST)
- Power – Electric 240/480V & 4160V
- Systems – Enclosed and Open
- HP - 1000 HP Variable Speed Drive (VSD)
- RPM - With current Gear Box 4800 +/- RPM
