Engineered Parts

  • Replacement Parts
  • Just-In-Time Parts
  • Cast Parts

When you require a part and are facing a long lead time, Hydro can meet your needs in a reduced time frame through our reverse engineering, patternless casting, and integrated manufacturing processes. Hydro's engineers review and evaluate all parts to offer important upgrades and apply new technologies that will reduce wear and improve reliability.

Our Just-In-Time Parts Program is a fully integrated system which combines our engineering know-how with the most up-to-date technology to readily produce high quality, repeatable parts.

Utilizing our JIT parts manufacturing center, complete with coordinate measuring machine (CMM), CAD/CAM and CNC tools, we work together with station personnel to jointly develop a plan to maintain their equipment while minimizing inventory levels.

Key elements of our cost-effective parts program includes the auditing and analysis of existing inventory, using parts from the store room in our repairs, and manufacturing replacement parts for critical engineered pumps on an as-needed basis.

Hydro's engineers use state-of-the-art equipment and software to help pump users with difficult-to-source cast parts, such as impellers diffusers, discharge heads, casings, bowls and suction bells.

Hydro's process for providing cast parts involves:

  • Laser scanning and reverse engineering
  • Solid modeling
  • Solidification simulation
  • Precision sand mold printing
  • Casting metals that you specify
  • Custom inspection processes
  • Testing to verify pump performance when required

Because almost all phases of the project are under the control and direction of Hydro, we can produce a higher quality part within a very responsive time frame.
