As motor turbine and pump trains are connected, so Hydro has connected with GE to offer our customers the option for single-source repair capability on both drivers and pumps.
Opportunities exist to improve performance in both the motor and the pump, and our Strategic Relationship Agreement enables customers to choose ‘one’ service provider to complete the overall assessment, offer a complete driver and driven solution and offer one source for turnkey service. The new agreement with GE reduces customer risks, warranty issues, project resource requirements, and effectively addresses process changes and capacity upgrades due to system performance deterioration.
