HydroAire 40th St Service Center & New 5000 HP Test Lab

HydroAire's new facility, located at 1126 West 40th Street, has 46,000 square feet dedicated to pump aftermarket services. In addition to large machining equipment and 82 tons of crane capacity, the new facility has a 5000 HP Test Lab, which is the culmination of a two-year effort to bring the best and most comprehensive range of pump services to the pump aftermarket.
HydroTex Awarded Calpine’s Master Services Agreement

Hydro was selected as Calpine’s National Pump Repair Supplier. The contract duration is for 3 years and applies to all of Calpine’s 77 operating locations throughout the United States.

New Manager of HydroAire’s Nuclear Services Division

HydroAire is pleased to announce the addition of Don Spencer to the team as Manager of Nuclear Services.
After earning his Bachelor’s of Science in Nuclear Engineering, Don has spent more than 30 years in the nuclear pump industry. He began his career at Bingham-Willamette and moved to Johnston Pump, both of which were acquired by Sulzer where Don spent 22 years working in positions of increasing responsibility. His most recent position with Sulzer was General Manager of Nuclear Services.
Expert in Pipeline Industry Joins Hydro Team

Hydro is pleased to announce the addition of Roger Davey to our team as Director of Hydraulic Engineering – Pipeline Division.
Roger began his career in the pump industry in 1972 when he joined David Brown (Union Pump) as a young engineer in Yorkshire, England. In 1979, Roger was transferred to a partnering facility in Portland, Oregon, to be trained as a hydraulic design engineer and eventually became Chief Engineer at David Brown. In 1996, Roger joined Sulzer as the Hydraulic Design Manager for the North Americas and his most recently held position with Sulzer was the Manager for Advance Engineering. With 37 years of engineering expertise, Hydro is excited to be working with Roger.
HydroTex Opens a New Facility in Summer 2009

Planned to open in the Summer of 2009, our new state-of-the-art facility will be dedicated to serving the petroleum and petrochemical market for high quality, rapid response pump repair.
